Taylor began her career with YouTube beginning by recording ASMR videos on her phone. PewDiePie featured her in his game video just when she had the 50,000 mark, which was around one and a half years after posting her first video. [6] At 2 months, close to 100,000 subscribers Taylor had stopped making videos on her Youtube channel, and put all of her videos on private, mainly due to difficulties with her new equipment, and also being overwhelmed by the amount of traffic she received. After taking a long time off for a month, she began making new videos. Taylor created the cult ASMR ten triggers designed to help you sleep (35 millions views by august 2022). ASMR Twenty Triggers for Sleep the video, which became extremely popular in July 2017 has been seen by 38 million viewers as at August 20, 2012. In August 2017, she was interviewed by Shane Dawson for his video and shortly thereafter, was able to reach 1 million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK, in its February issue, estimated that she earned $1,000 per month from her YouTube channel.
Helfer was born in rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis and Elaine Helfer. Her parents are from German and English descent. She attended the William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler in Alberta. She worked and lived on the family's grain farm with her three sisters: Trena, Tammy and Tara. At the age of 17, Helfer's modeling agency agent spotted the model while waiting in line at the theater.
